The Sulphur, Oklahoma region is set to host an exciting event for First American artists. On Saturday, April 5, 2025, the 12th annual Artesian Arts Festival invites these talented artists to showcase their work. Applications are now open and must be submitted by 5 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Chickasaw Nation's Community Celebration

Hosted by the Chickasaw Nation, this festival is a significant community event dedicated to First American fine art and artists. The juried art show and market offer a wide range of categories, including drawing, graphic arts, mixed media, painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture, textiles, 3-D diverse, beadwork/quillwork, pottery, traditional dress and regalia, weaponry, and cultural diverse. There are awards and cash prizes in 21 different divisions, along with "Best of Division" and "Best of Show" awards.A diverse array of musical entertainment, tribal dance demonstrations, and food vendors will add to the festive atmosphere. Open to the public without any cost, the 2024 festival welcomed over 15,400 visitors.
